Carlos Castellano, our founder, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a talent for illuminating the lives of others. His journey began with a landscaping business, which he expanded to include holiday light installations during the off-season. This venture grew into what is now known as Holiday Light & Decor, launched in 2004.
Despite an initial fear of heights, Carlos's love for the holiday season and his entrepreneurial spirit have been the driving forces behind his business. Over the years, Carlos has also established LUX Lighting Services, extending his passion for lighting to all seasons.
Carlos and his wife, Smirna, an elementary school teacher in Humble ISD, have been proud residents of the Houston area for most of their lives, raising their four children in this close-knit community. Understanding the local need for a professional holiday light installation service, Carlos envisioned a company that would help homes and businesses capture the magic of the holiday season without the stress of setting up and taking down decorations.
